After a whirlwind month traveling through Paris, Tuscany, London, and Miami, this actor is back in her own neighborhood and once again monopolizing the New York fashion scene one fierce print at a time. Silky fabrics and bold colors — particularly that printed slip dress she just debuted — were Priyanka Chopra's defense against the tail end of summer's biggest heat wave. You'll want this breezy midi for hot days, too.

It's been a while since the 37-year-old was on home turf. She and Nick Jonas jetted off to Paris toward the end of June to attend now sister-in-law Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' top-secret French wedding ceremony.

Afterward, the couple had a quick summer getaway in Italy over Independence Day weekend, then they went to London, then Miami to celebrate Chopra's birthday. At long last, the Bollywood icon is back in the Big Apple and making headlines with her outfits already.

On Tues., Chopra went out in a blue nautical-inspired wrap dress from St. John's Resort 2020 collection, which she accessorized with a Ferragamo lady bag. The following day, she debuted another funky print — this time a blue slip dress adorned with seagrass and fish.

Marine things seem to be a theme in the actor's outfits this week.

Consider Chopra's lightweight slip dress your secret weapon to surviving sweltering days in style. Especially with that sticky New York humidity, silk sometimes seems like the only option.

The dress is by Hale Bob — connoisseur of unique and colorful prints — and, lucky for you, is still available, although probably not for long. Its botanical and marine-life motif gives today's animal-print trend all new meaning.

The midi features adjustable straps and hits just below the knee, but Chopra preferred to wear hers loose and a little longer on Weds. Recreate the outfit with these warm weather-approved printed slip dresses, ahead.
