"There are only a few red carpet dresses that every single person at a viewing party can agree is amazing, and Taraji P. Henson’s Vera Wang number was it. Her green velvet look with a plunging neckline puts all other plunging necklines to shame." — Lauren Caruso, Managing Editor

Timothée Chalamet

"I instantly cooed over Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein and Saoirse Ronan in Gucci, but how can I go without acknowledging the sneaky prowess of Timothée Chalamet. His glittery Louis Vuitton harness (courtesy of designer Virgil Abloh) sits well outside the usual sartorial choices of men on the red carpet. Bravo, Timmy!" — Aemilia Madden, Senior Fashion Editor

Charlize Theron

"I always love Charlize's look, but this Golden Globe outfit is serious #goals. I always gravitate toward simple looks, and this one was such an elegant take on a minimal gown. It's exactly what I'd wear if I ever had the chance to walk the red carpet." — Anna Buckman, Shopping News Editor

Thandie Newton

"Silver dresses were seriously trending tonight, but I think Thandie Newton’s mirrored Michael Kors gown — complete with dual cutouts — looked as pristine as it gets." — Lauren Caruso, Managing Editor

Lupita Nyong'o

"When I got a glimpse of Lupita Nyong’o’s Calvin Klein by Appointment gown, I nearly dropped my phone. The cobalt blue coloring looks resplendent on her rich brown skin, and the chain fringe details swish every time she moves… not that she needs a reason for everyone to stop and stare at her." — Khalea Underwood, Beauty Editor

Rosamund Pike

"I'm always intrigued by an outfit takes me by surprise, and this Givenchy Haute Couture ensemble did just that. While at first I was convinced it was a dress, turns out it's a bodysuit and maxi skirt —a bold combination. Plus, with the addition of the shimmering boldero, the ensemble is a combination I don't often see on a major red carpet." — Aemilia Madden, Senior Fashion Editor

Regina King

"I love when celebs opt for a unique color on the red carpet, and there's something so darn pretty about Regina King's glitzy pink gown. Color aside, the Alberta Ferretti piece made for one of the coolest silhouettes of the evening." — Ruby Buddemeyer, Associate Celebrity Editor

Rachel Weisz

"I have some seriously mixed feelings about new Celine (I miss Phoebe…a lot.) but Rachel Weisz’s black-and-white dress was amazing on the red carpet." — Lauren Caruso, Managing Editor
