If you were to poll a group of friends on what mascara is currently sitting in their makeup bags, you're likely to receive quite a few responses of Diorshow. The cult-favorite product is one of those beauty buys that has remained at the top of the must-have list for years. That said, Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume also earned a spot in many a medicine cabinet for those who sought an extra lash boost, and now the brand is taking it one step further with the release of Dior's Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume HD Mascara.

Ringing in for $29.50 a tube at Sephora, the latest member of the Dior mascara family takes the best-selling formula to the next level. It's "the reinvention of our Pump ‘N’ Volume Mascara," said Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, in a video from the brand. "By combining new waxes and new polymers, we are able to create the perfect combination between volume and high-definition — creating the illusion of having more lashes."

So, if you're in the market for a lash lift, this creamy mascara may be just what your makeup routine is missing. The new formula promises 94 percent more HD volume, and claims to keep your lashes free of clumps and excess product. Meanwhile, ingredients like vitamin B and cotton extract work to strengthen and protect your lashes.

As for the application? How you apply the mascara doesn't deviate from the way you would typically swipe your product on vertically from root to tip. However, what may be new for you is the feel of the packaging, as the mascara comes in a flexible tube which is meant to be squeezed to soften the formula. Before you apply product evenly to the brush, give the bottle a few squeezes and you're good to go. For maximum impact, layer your lashes with a couple of coats to achieve the desired dramatic volume.
