To say that YouTube has come a long way since its humble beginnings would be a massive understatement. Since the platform first launched in 2005, it’s become the ultimate destination for people to share original and creative content — and for some, these videos have led to full-blown careers. Of course, the video sharing website has also served as a major source for inspiration, and for those of you who are interested in fashion and beauty, it’s only getting better: Derek Blasberg has launched YouTube.com/Fashion — and it’s as good as it sounds.

Colloquially referred to as “slash fashion,” the YouTube.com/Fashion page is set to become the ultimate destination for all of your style needs, whether it’s a behind-the-scenes look into your favorite designer’s runway show, easy styling tips for everyday occasions, or a cool beauty tutorial. And with a curated selection of video content from popular YouTube creators, industry professionals, luxury brands, and others, you’ll feel as though you’re living through every aspect of the fashion and beauty world.

It’s no secret that social media and content creation have become major pillars in the fashion and beauty industries. Without a doubt, YouTube has been a large part of that. And with an increasing amount of YouTube channels focusing on those areas, it only makes sense that they should all be in one place, along with new and original content.

Equipped with a long history in the fashion and beauty industry as a journalist, Blasberg — who joined the company as the director of YouTube Fashion and Beauty in 2018 — launched Youtube.com/Fashion as a way to bridge the gap between the platform’s “creator community and the more traditional worlds of fashion and beauty.”

One of the biggest features of this hub will be inside looks into industry collaborations with Youtube creators and fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and more. And just in time for Fashion Month, the new page will be live streaming the latest runway shows and behind-the-scenes footage in the form of “Stories with Style,” which you can enjoy and be a part of from the comfort of your home.

“Our goal is to make YouTube.com/Fashion a diverse and inclusive place, filled with the latest fashion and beauty trends, content, and more,” Blasberg said in a press release. And while this new addition to the YouTube universe is only getting started, Blasberg and his team are currently working to expand further by bringing in more international voices as well as localize for global markets. In other words, YouTube.com/Fashion is making the world of fashion a little smaller.

So, whenever you need some sartorial or beauty inspiration, head over to YouTube.com/Fashion — it’s sure to be your ultimate style destination.
