How This Influencer Plans To Style Her Newly Launched Watch Collection For The Holidays
A piece that's both practical and stylish, a watch has more to offer than any other member of your jewelry box. And if you haven't quite found a style that's right for you (or you're looking to scoop up a style for a loved one), you won't want to miss Danielle Bernstein's new collection with Larsson & Jennings. The influencer and founder of the well-known style blog, WeWoreWhat, has partnered with the London-based watch brand to create a capsule collection just in time for the holidays.
Unveiled on Dec. 4, the limited edition offering includes three watches that blend a vintage-inspired design with the contemporary, minimal aesthetic Larsson & Jennings is known for offering. "Growing up I always wore a little Casio watch and my mom wore the Cartier Tank," Bernstein explains to TZR. "So, I pulled inspiration from both of those to create something modern that still had that timeless feel."
All three styles ring in for $175 and feature a clean, rectangular face with a link band. Those after a yellow-tone watch will gravitate toward this 22mm 18-karat gold-plated style, while shoppers who prefer silver should take a peek at this larger Boyfriend style, which brings gold into the design in a more subtle way. But, if you love to mix your metals, you can opt for this 22mm gold and silver silhouette, which the designer notes to be the one she's most fond of, telling TZR, "The two tone smaller watch is my favorite. It seamlessly fits in with the mixed metal jewelry I accessorize with daily."
No matter which style you choose though, all three watches have a classic, elevated look, which will allow them to easily transition from everyday attire to more formal occasions, like holiday parties. "The best part about these watches is that they can be worn with anything," says Bernstein. "I like to mix my metals with my jewelry pairings and juxtapose a really girly or fancy dress with the masculine edge of the watch."
Easy to wear and priced just under $200, this collection may allow you to cross a few people off your holiday shopping list. And, when it comes to picking out styles for your nearest and dearest, just think of what color metals they tend to wear on a daily basis. Of course, if you're doing a little self-gifting, then, this capsule will also make for a nice treat-yourself moment that won't drain your bank account.
