On the morning of Oct. 15, Kensington Palace announced via Twitter that Meghan Markle is pregnant with her first child with Prince Harry, due in the spring of 2019. The news, which is garnering plenty of reactions from celebs and fans alike, comes five months after Prince Harry and the actress-turned-Duchess tied the knot, and follows a weekend spent celebrating Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public," Kensington Palace tweeted following the announcement.

Naturally, Twitter is going wild congratulating The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the happy announcement, with the original announcement already liked over 140,000 times and the hashtag #royalbaby trending just hours after the news broke online. Royal fans are sharing their excitement on every platform imaginable, and you can be sure that the reactions will only continue to flood in as the news spreads.

But fans of the royal family aren't the only ones turning to Twitter to celebrate — plenty of celebrities are tweeting the royal family their love and support.

As with any royal baby announcement, there are plenty of comedians chiming in with some stellar one-liners. Wales radio presenter Ben Sheppard tweeted a joke only fans of the Suits will understand, the television show that made Markle a household name before even joining the royal family.

While celebs are thrilled to send the happy couple warm wishes, the announcement means the most to the family members, both royal and regular. The baby will be the first grandchild for Doria Ragland, Markle's mother, who had just visited in September in celebration of Markle's new cookbook. "Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild," said a Palace spokesperson according to a Tweet that HELLO! royal editor Emily Nash posted on Oct. 15.

Below, a look at more of the sweetest celebrity reactions to Markle's pregnancy announcement so far.

Writer and former First Lady of California, Maria Shriver, was excited for everyone in the royal family after seeing the announcement.

Television host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres also had to gush about the news of the royal baby on her Twitter account.

The Baroness Brady used Twitter to send out a heartfelt congratulatory message to the expecting parents on Oct. 15.

Meg Cabot, author of The Princess Diaries, had to tweet a witty reference to her book's main character when congratulating the couple. Being that book follows the story of a girl who suddenly has to deal with the stresses of becoming a royal family member, her Tweet feels very appropriate.

Singer and actress Stacy Francis couldn't hold back her excitement, including a beautiful engagement photo of Prince Harry and Markle with her congratulatory tweet to the couple.

English television personality Lydia-Rose Bright quoted an old nursery rhyme, complete with the perfect emojis.
