5 Boots Celebs Are Wearing For Fall That Deliver Ample Inspiration

by Shelby Ying Hyde

Like with anything else, taking a look at the boots that celebs are wearing for fall can offer up quite a bit of inspiration. And by tackling some of Fall/Winter 2019's most popular trends head on, your favorite street-style star's choice in footwear are, more often than not, accompanied by an outfit worth replicating. This can be especially helpful when searching for a new pair to add to your lineup or on days when you're simply bored or feeling uninspired.

Over the last few weeks, celebs have been seen sporting their spin on the latest boot trends, which means there's ample inspo for you to choose from when getting dressed in the morning. Leading the pack is Kendall Jenner, who is fully embracing the '90s resurgence of the classic combat boot (with Dr. Martens being her brand of choice). Jenner styles hers with other pieces from the decade like oversized work-shirts and slim-fit pants to ensure the look is equally proportioned. Falling in line with the trends of the past, knee-high boots are also having a moment. Kaia Gerber is taking part in bringing the timeless silhouette into the new season by wearing hers with micro-mini skirts for a retro feel. Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkwoski swaps out more traditional boot color ways for a fresh white pair that are surprisingly versatile, keeping the styling simple with a Canadian tuxedo and a turtleneck.

Regardless of your preference, following your favorite celeb's lead in the shoe department is a safe bet. Ahead are a list of the top styles celebs are wearing from the new season that TZR has deemed worth exploring.

1. Dr. Martens

Dubbed the most-coveted shoe of 2019 by Footwear News, Dr. Marten's cult combat boots have made quite the comeback, which is hardly surprising considering the '90s are trending right now. The chunky style has been seen on the likes of Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kaia Gerber — which is a testament to how fashionable it really is and the styling power it will hold in your own lineup.

2. Knee-High Boots

A tried and true classic that will stand the test of time, knee high boots are being worn by some of your favorite celebs with both mini and midi hemlines, alike. And while there are several iterations on the market right now (both heeled and flat), the taller silhouette stands out most with bold textures, sculptural heels, and that trendy squared toe.

3. White Boots

Forgetting everything you know about that old fashion adage that claims you can't wear white after Labor Day, boots in the optic hue are having quite the moment right now. In fact, Emily Ratajkowski is just one celeb that's really leaning into fresh white boots for fall. But the key to styling them is keeping the outfit as a whole pared back — follow EmRata's lead by wearing yours with an effortless jean and turtleneck combo.

4. Chunky "Flatform" Boots

Street-style stars and celebs are fully embracing this season's chunky shoe trend and Karlie Kloss' lugg sole boots are proof. Confirming that flat boots can be chic, too, take a page from the model's book by wearing yours with more polished separate like, a trench coat and mini skirt or tailored trousers.

5. Second-Skin Boots

As per usual, Victoria Beckham has the right idea. Much like tights or stockings, sock boots are just one more way to tackle the cold in style. The designer has been wearing several different versions of this peep-toe pair from her eponymous label nonstop for weeks now and she's definitely on to something. Experiment with similar styles for yourself by slipping them under a pair of trousers.
