It's pretty common to gravitate toward neutral nail colors in the winter, especially when you're in the thick of a daily routine and aren't apt to changing things up. As the weather warms up, it seems like glitter is everywhere — not that sparkle ever goes out of style. "Whether as an accent nail or full set, glitter makes a bold statement," celebrity manicurist Gina Edwards says. "It's definitely an empowerment color."
Toxin-free polish brand Butter London noticed their consumers need for bolder nail choices and expanded their offerings, too. "You could feel the energy that day... it felt like a fresh start. Everything around me had a pink cast and I thought, 'I want to capture those radiating colors and put them in my bottles.'"
