For years when we were young(er), we couldn’t take our eyes off of Britney Spears. Then, we couldn’t take our eyes off of her, but in a car crash kinda way. To be honest, we kinda loved that breakdown-era Britney, because we related to her a lot more than we did to the snake-wielding, international-sex-symbol version. That said, we’re happy she bounced back because she’ll forever hold a special place in our hearts and we just want her to be well.
Perhaps that’s why we can’t take our eyes off of the superstar once more—only this time it’s her Instagram presence we’re obsessed with. We don’t know if you follow Brit, but we highly recommend it for the videos alone. She does a couple of different kinds—the fashion shows are our favorites—but it’s her workout vids we inexplicably find ourselves watching over and over. Girlfriend has been working on her fitness for the better part of two decades, and we are both exhausted on her behalf and mesmerized by her continued motivation. We have never looked as good as she does sweating it out—smoky eye and all—and we don’t want to (because what would we have to aspire to, if not her abs?).
