Lenny Kravitz Adds Interior Designer to His Resumé

by Cary Spitzer

We could not have imagined during Lenny Kravitz’s “American Woman” heyday that in the future, we’d all be coveting his rugs and ottomans. But that’s exactly what is happening now, thanks to the rock star’s collaboration with CB2. The interiors juggernaut announced the partnership today and Kravitz is on CB2’s homepage looking as fly as ever in shredded denim and waltzing through what appears to be his ideal living space. Think exposed brick walls, hanging tapestries, sleek modern furniture and, of course, guitars leaning casually against sofas. It looks like the comfy kind of space in which we’d want to spend a rainy afternoon, with Kravitz beside us softly strumming “I Belong to You” on his acoustic. The entire collection includes 21 pieces, ranging from a $34 throw pillow to a $1,099 shag rug. Above, a few of our favorite pieces from the brand new CB2 x Kravitz Design.
