Fall Decor

by Tyler Love

Jackie,

I am so glad you asked this question, because I am currently working on the very same thing in my own home. Dispensing tips from my interior design guru, Jeremiah Brent, I have a handful of fresh ideas for you. To create a fabulous fall space, start by adding seasonal-appropriate touches to each room, like warmly scented candles—try Diptyque’s Tubèreuse Candle or Jo Malone’s Holiday Candle Collection—plush velvet pillows (you can even DIY your own cozy cushions by reconstructing old cable knit sweaters) and wool throw blankets. Both Missoni Home’s Jocker Chunky Knit Wool Throw and Nate Berkus’ Hand-knitted Sweater Throw are luxe options.

Next, consider changing out your light summer drapes for ones made of a heavier material in a darker tone—I love Anthropologie’s Parlor Curtains. Have a fireplace? Add a log basket or modern trunk and fill it with wood for an inviting touch.

Finally, if you have outdoor space, think about adding a fabulous fire pit that will be perfect for sitting around and roasting marshmallows with friends! xoRZ
