Fashion month style-watching is something of a spectator sport: We tend to keep a mental tally of who’s killing it from city to city, as well as tabs on any general trends we notice. (Why we haven’t started a fantasy league yet is a mystery.) In general, we wait with baited breath for the over-the-top, statement-making looks often synonymous with the spectacle, but this year the overall vibe has proven a bit more understated than previous seasons. That is, until the party Love magazine threw with Miu Miu at London Fashion Week. Finally, Brit babes such as Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne wowed us with truly outlandish looks—the kind that you’re not so sure you can pull off yourself, but still come to appreciate in all their costumey, avant-garde glory. Here, the 5 fun ensembles we were excited to see.
Suki Waterhouse
Suki's croc-effect tangerine dress, fuzzy beret and polka-dot platforms made for quirky and colorful party attire.
Cara Delevingne
Cara's cool cut-out skirt left little to the imagination—the supermodel covered up on top with a cropped leather bomber jacket.
Poppy Delevingne
Poppy's ruby cape, paired with a black choker and statement lip, is giving us sexy Little Red Riding Hood-meets-matador vibes.
Georgia May Jagger
A statement jacket made of satin and fluffy, feathery accoutrements? Check. A cheerleader-esque high ponytail? Check. Georgia brought her spirited look full circle by finishing with an in-your-face red lip.
Dree and Langley Hemingway
The sisters Hemingway attended the fete in a flurry of patterns, colors and statement accessories.
