You Have To See This Outrageously Expensive Russian Wedding

If you thought celebrity weddings were lavish, wait until you hear about this Russian oil tycoon’s daughter. Ilkhom Shokirov spared no expense when he turned the Radisson Royal Congressional Park Hotel in Moscow into a palace of sorts for his daughter, Madina Shokirova. The bride said “I do” to her groom with a reported 900 guests in attendance, but the real surprise was the $400,000 concert, towering 10-foot wedding cake and the more-than-half-a-million-dollar Ralph & Russo dress complete with hundreds of pearls and Swarovski crystals. As if that wasn’t enough, the affair lasted two days to accommodate a more traditional ceremony after the extravagant reception (it was no less regal). Well, that’s certainly how you throw the wedding of the century. See photos of the outrageously over-the-top nuptials here.
