Getting In Line At The Row

by Nicky Deam

We have a chic new neighbor on Melrose Place thanks to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Row’s stunning 3,800-square-foot flagship store opened today in West Hollywood, almost a decade after they first launched the line. We couldn’t resist stopping by to see the sunlit space for ourselves, and as promised, it is filled with their signature structural separates, buttery leather pieces, and covetable handbags. The space feels so relaxed and welcoming that we almost felt comfortable enough to take a dip in the pool. There’s always tomorrow.

The Tour

One of the walls of artfully curated items, including Manolo Blahnik heels, artwork, and bags from The Row. Stacks of paper-thin cashmere sweaters pepper the selection.

The jewel of the shop is undoubtedly the pool, around which the store is centered. Thanks to the secluded entrance, it feels more like a mid-century modern home than a retail space.

The Shopper Tote in black leather perched atop a wooden pillar. If only our entryway looked as beautiful.

A pair of Manolo Blahnik crocodile sandals and The Row's bead embellished coat. Quite possibly the most chic combination we've seen in a while.

The main room offers relaxed seating for the weary shopper, or anyone who prefers to peruse fur coats and silk camisoles from a sedentary position.
