The Real-Girl Way To Pull Off This Fashion-Forward Trend

Share

Certain trends are harder to wear than others. Although they may appear super-chic on the runway or red carpet, it can be a challenge to translate certain statement pieces IRL for us normal gals. Case in point: the voluminous sleeve. While the oversize balloon silhouette looks so cool and elegant on It girl Kate Bosworth, we have to consider two things: One, she attends a slew of major fashion events where she can don such dramatic pieces, and two, those giant convenient for the everyday girl. (For example, will this get in the way of driving? Eating?) So, we sought to find pieces that will help us pull off the attention-grabbing look with aplomb. Luckily, there are a plethora of more modest styles that aren’t as overwhelming in size, and they can be easily paired with denim or trousers for a sleek yet fashion-girl result. Look ahead for the voluminous sleeve blouses you can totally pull off.
