This week all eyes have been on the Fashion Week runways but there has been another equally stylish parade happening further north. "Seen at the premiere for her film Magic in the Moonlight, this dress is perfect example of texture making a simple black dress truly unique. Look for special details like a sheer patterned skirt or halter neckline and team with soft waves, a red lip and simple sandals for a modern spin on ladylike glamour."

Chanel Haute Couture

"The white tweed dress Keira wore to the premiere of her film The Imitation Game is ideal for a formal daytime event or a cocktail party. The mid-sleeves and subtle metallic touches are demure yet festive. Opt for a deep lip and leg-lengthening nude heels."

Hugo Boss

"At the Ask Alice premiere Kate shows how to do head-to-toe red. Choose a sleek silhouette that hits below the knee, add sharp pumps and finish with slick hair and a bold red lip."

Chanel Haute Couture

"At the Ask Alice premiere, Julianne Moore wore a structured white dress with an embellished bib and metallic accessories—bejeweled necklines are a great alternative to statement jewelry. Pair with shoes and a box clutch in similar metal hues."

Stella McCartney

"At the Men, Women & Children premiere Jennifer Garner wore this figure-hugging black gown with netted panels for a sportswear-infused evening look. To channel her style, look for a dress with mesh or netted panels and wear with shiny waves and a smudged, smokey eye."
