by Jennifer Ash

It’s finally warm and sunny, jet-set getaways have been booked and bags are naturally (over)packed—which can only mean one thing: Spring break is here! To make sure you have everything you need for your travels (or the chic staycation you’ve planned instead), we asked our super-stylish team of interns here at The Zoe Report to share their own vacation plans and the must-have items they’ll be bringing along with them. Hearing what they have in store for the long break has left us wishing we could go back to school. Immediately.

Spring Break Style

“I’m traveling to Austin, Texas this spring break to visit one of my best friends. We're planning on fitting a lot of activities into one week, so packing pieces that I can easily dress up or down in a pinch, like my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans, is a must. To transform an everyday look without taking up too much room in my suitcase, I plan to bring bold accessories like pink sunnies and a color-block bag.”

— Lauren Eggertsen, Editorial Intern

"For the last spring break of our college years, my friends and I have decided to visit Puerto Rico since none of us have ever been. We will explore the amazing city, its beautiful beaches—where my ocean-print bikini came in handy—and may end the trip checking out a local music festival."

— Bo-ve Dong, Editorial Intern

“I am jet setting to Europe for my spring break so this raspberry coat will be perfect for the rainy weather in Ireland and London. When it comes to my makeup bag, I'll never skip town without rosebud salve. It's the perfect size for jet setting and keeping your pout moisturized on the go. A must-have for touring Versailles or taking a boat ride down the Seine."

— Amelia Thomas, Editorial Intern

"For my last semester of college I wanted to do something different. I love Europe and I love to travel so I've decided to go to Dublin and London! To prepare for the chilly weather, I'll bring a cozy knit sweater from my favorite Canadian boutique Aritzia and my black water-resistant park from Zara. Leggings, black jeans, and my Nike Roshe sneakers will get me through the busy days I have planned for Dublin and London where I will we be doing a lot of walking—it's the best way to experience a new city!"

— Samara Slater, Editorial Intern

"This year for spring break I’ll be traveling to Hawaii, so my suitcase will mostly contain bikinis and flip-flops. To stick with the island vibe of Maui, I can’t go without the perfect two-piece suit and a transitional clutch. My beach bag will also be filled with at least two bottles of Maui Babe, which I apply over my sunscreen to achieve the perfect, healthy glow."

— Michaela Bushkin, Editorial Intern

"Every spring getaway requires a few essentials, and when relaxing beachside in Miami, I always make sure to pack an oversize towel, mirrored shades and a basic pair of flip flops to slip-on."

— Coco Schiffer, Social Media Intern
