Knitwear is our winter wardrobe bread and butter but making it interesting can occasionally be a challenge. That’s why we adore this simple trick for adding excitement to a basic sweater dress, courtesy of the designers at Proenza Schouler. Simply layer a midi-length pleated skirt underneath the knit for a cool flash of contrasting color and texture. Complete the look with chunky-heeled mules and a big, masculine overcoat.
