How To Dress For Work When It’s Cold Out

A work-appropriate shift dress and pumps will get you through most of the year but once the temperatures drop, things can get complicated. A chilly commute followed by unpredictable office temperatures calls for expert layering and strategic extras.

Layer a cashmere sweater over a button up, pencil skirt and boots then add a robe coat and tonal extras for the commute.

Allow a striped turtleneck to peek out from under a long-sleeve knit midi dress. Add a fuzzy gilet over a patterned coat and finish with gloves for the commute.

Top wool pants and a pussybow blouse with an on-trend sleeveless sweater. Team with a coordinated hat and scarf and tailored topcoat for the commute.
