You only have 5 minutes to refresh your beauty look before heading to a holiday party, what do you do?

"I’ve really gotten my beauty routine down to a science, so when I’m up against the clock, it’s all about the essentials. I would definitely refresh my signature cat eye (my secret weapon is Ardency Inn’s Modster Eyeliner in Black), dab a blush & highlighter on the apples of my cheek and cheekbones (I love Dior for just the right shade of pink and Glossier's Haloscope in Quartz), and top it all off with a perfect matte lip. I love Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect."

Which item reliably makes you feel put together?

"I would definitely have to say that a sleek handbag always keeps my look feeling elevated and pulled together. Even when I’m dressing down, my bags makes me feel polished."

What is your favorite travel hack?

"One of my favorite packing hacks when it comes to holiday travel is how I pack my accessories. I always pack my handbags and purses in shoeboxes so they retain their shape and don’t get smushed. It's one of my favorite tricks because it keeps my accessories in perfect condition."

What are you most looking forward to in 2017?

"In July of 2016 I launched my YouTube Channel and it’s become something that I absolutely LOVE! I can’t wait to create more video content and share more travel vlogs!"

How do you prepare for the new year?

"When it comes to setting goals for the upcoming year, I love to take the time to purge my closet—things to stash and things to save for the year ahead. It gives me a fresh perspective on trends for the new year and allows me to really focus on the direction I’m taking my style in, which ultimately translates to the blog."

Favorite item from RZ's collection (and how you'd style it)?

"I would definitely have to say one of my favorite items from the Rachel Zoe collection is her Alicia Wool Coat. It’s so versatile and I love to wear it with an ultra-feminine lace blouse and a great pair of tailored pants. Finish the look with Mary Janes for your inner girly-girl."

What is your favorite place to shop for holiday gifts?

"My one-stop shop this year has been Amazon Prime! I am a bit of a last minute shopper and I can always find something thoughtful for my loved ones that will arrive in time."

Do you have any entertaining tips for holiday parties?

"I’m such an entertainer at heart. When it comes to expert entertaining tips for the holidays, I would definitely say simplifying is key. Instead of an open bar, pick a signature cocktail (or two!), pre-mix and serve them in your favorite punch bowl. Selecting the menu? Opt for a few delicious appetizer stations that won’t have you slaving away in the kitchen while your guests are out in the living room enjoying themselves. Both of these time-savers give you the opportunity to enjoy yourself rather than stress yourself out!"
