Staud: The Label Cool Girls Everywhere Are Going To Obsess Over

by Kristi Mikesky

Though the emerging talent pool is always simmering in the design world, there are some new labels that just hook us from the get-go. Enter Staud, created by Sarah Staudinger (formerly of Reformation) and George Augusto. In addition to a sharply focused, minimalist cool-girl aesthetic, the label offers up a unique defining feature: customization. Pieces in the collection, which range from utilitarian jumpsuits to leggy minidresses, come with the ability to specify such details as sleeve length, hemline and the like. And we haven’t even touched on the most impressive part: the price point. Items range from $75 for a knit tee to $375 for a trench coat—with most goods hitting somewhere in the middle—which is incredibly reasonable for bespoke fashion. Here, check out some of our favorites from the new label’s debut lineup.
