The Most Stylish Ways To Support Voting This Election Season

by Amy Lee

There’s a lot at stake this election season and the importance of voting is crucial in influencing issues from the gender wage gap to gun violence. To encourage voting and celebrate the potential election of the country’s first female president, fashion brands have been delivering equally stylish and powerful modes of public political expression via their garments.

Cool-girl denim brand Industry Standard—which showed us how jeans are made—kicked off its updated monogram feature of up to 15 characters, donating 20% of pro-Hillary embroidery sales to her campaign. Slogan zingers such as #ImWithHer and Hill Yes can be stitched across the waistband or pocket (choose from six different styles). Most recently, Rebecca Minkoff collaborated with actress America Ferrera in designing the chicest campaign shirt, emblazoned with “Make America Ferrera Again” to inspire young women to get educated and involved in having their voices heard during such a pivotal time in politics. The tee retails for $48 and portion of the proceeds will be donated to Rock the Vote. Shop the pieces now and don’t forget to vote this November.
