Take Your Turquoise
For Gucci’s sensational spring show, Frida Giannini conjured a late-sixties, early-seventies vibe, using a slew of vibrant colors and dramatic, spectacular silhouettes. Entire ensembles of head-to-toe bright pink, cobalt, coral, citrus yellow and turquoise strutted down the runway, with shoes, bags and sunglasses to match. And today, dearest Zoe Reporters, we’re honing in on one of the collection’s staggering selects: Gucci’s Turquoise Green Washed Silk Flounce Top.
Cutouts and ruffles were at the top of Giannini’s list this season, and they come together marvelously to form this picturesque piece. The turquoise green a-line silk blouse has fabulous flounces decorating the sides and a front center cutout. On the runway, Gucci’s shirt sat atop matching turquoise trousers, but how would we wear it, you ask? Alongside flare jeans, gold bracelet and nude wedges to add major intrigue to your spring wardrobe.
