As fashion girls, we’re easily swayed by the next It item, statement bag, you get the picture. We’re also, however, practical in terms of what our budget allows, often opting for affordable versions of seasonal trends (velvet pants, voluminous tops) while reserving investment dollars for wardrobe classics that stand the test of time. The key to pulling off inexpensive items without looking too bargain shopper? Rich fabrics (cashmere, silk, suede), sleek silhouettes and elegant details.
