Make room in your closet. Adam Lippes‘ collection for Target drops this Sunday, September 27, and we haven’t been this excited about designer collaborations since Alexander Wang joined forces with H&M in October 2014. The 50-piece offering includes everything from sweaters and ponchos to throw blankets, dog bowls and journals, and was inspired in part by the designer’s vacation home in the Berkshire Mountains. How, exactly? Nearly every piece–starting at $10 and topping out at $130–features an oversize buffalo check rendered in classic red, soft grey or camel. The former creative director of Oscar de la Renta has a history of sleek, universally-flattering design, which will sell well to Target fans (such as ourselves), and the minimalist style of these pieces (there’s nary or bell or whistle to be seen) makes the clothes look and feel much more expensive than they are. In short: Our wardrobe is about to get a lot more Lippes.
