An Insider’s Look At What It’s Like To Be Dressed By Dior

Among the fashion set, it’s safe to say it’s every girl’s dream to be dressed by Dior. Making that fantasy a reality for all of us, actress Ahna O’Reilly gave us an insider’s peek into the process of being dressed by the house for the LA premiere of the new documentary Dior And I last night. After sifting through dress after dress during fittings, Ahna finally landed on a flirty mint green number that she fell in love with. (Who could blame her?) Join us as we live vicariously through Ahna’s iPhone diary of the memorable night.

An Evening With Dior

"Getting ready at my stylist Caley Lawson's studio with the greatest hair and makeup team, Nikki Lawson and Derek Williams."

"I couldn't be more in love with the Dior dress we chose for the premiere—the mint color jumped out at me right away. As soon as I put it on, I knew it was the one."

"Choosing a handbag to complete the outfit. Going to Caley's is like being a kid in a candy store."

"Dressed and ready for the red carpet!"

"The film was incredible—fascinating and moving. It documents Raf Simons coming to Dior and the process of creating his first haute couture collection for the design house. It also celebrates the history, talent and dedication of Christian Dior's historic atelier in Paris as they help bring his first couture collection to the runway."

"Three dresses from Raf's premiere haute couture collection for Dior Fall 2012. These designs are all inspired by the art of Sterling Ruby."

"Flowers with a side of Champagne at the post-screening soiree. How gorgeous is this Dior clutch?"

"Wish the night didn't have to end. Didn't want to take any of this off! 'Til next time, Dior."
