The Denim Download: What’s New On The Jean Scene

With more denim brands on the market than you can shake a stick at it, it is always refreshing when a brand takes the conventional product and does something different. This week we’re spotlighting a brand that has figured out how to bring you affordable, high quality denim (hooray) and the reinvention of a classic product from one of our favorite denim destinations.

DSTLD Revolutionizes How We Buy

What: DSTLD (pronounced "Distilled") is the premium denim version of Everlane, which is to say, they've eliminated the middle man (and therefore the price) to bring premium denim straight to you.

Why: They offer a reliable selection of seasonless styles in classic washes that cost way less than your average jeans (as low as $65 a pair).

Acne's New Take On The Denim Jacket

What: Acne Studios can do no wrong, particularly when it comes to jeans. The Stockholm-based brand has mastered the minimalist aesthetic so it comes as no surprise they have reinvented the everyday denim jacket in raw denim with clean lines, leather tabs and a pointed collar.

Why: Because denim is getting polished for spring. Belt this over a white top and black pants for the office.
