The Gorgeous Red-Carpet Looks You Can’t Miss From The 2017 Fashion Awards
The British Fashion Awards (now known simply as The Fashion Awards) are kicking off in London tonight to celebrate the best in British and international talent. More than a dazzling red carpet of fashion’s elite, the fundraiser benefits the British Fashion Council’s Education Foundation in support of future generations within the industry—a pretty swell reason for top designers, models, It girls and beyond to gather and dazzle us with jaw-dropping wares. Tonight, fashion insiders receive well-deserved accolades like the Urban Luxe Award won by cult brand Off-White and the heavy-hitting category of Designer of the Year, which saw Jonathan Anderson for Loewe beat out an impressive nominee list including Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Jonathan Anderson for Loewe, Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior, Phoebe Philo for Céline and Raf Simons for Calvin Klein.
Also of note this year, industry ingenue Kaia Gerber lost to Adwoa Aboah for the honor of top model—an award that went to one Miss Gigi Hadid last year. The Fashion Awards red carpet—as predicted by British Fashion Council Chairman and stylish attendee, Dame Natalie Massenet—delivered a slew of killer looks. Here, see our favorites.
