Few situations would send us into a greater outfit panic than meeting Anna Wintour or Queen Elizabeth, which is why we were watching closely when Anna visited Buckingham Palace to become a dame. The Queen, being partial to a colorful topper, clearly inspired Anna’s choice of a belted, pale pink Chanel coat, which was perfect, save for the fact the Queen couldn’t quite figure out where to pin the brooch. Ever the gracious lady, Anna lightened the mood with a comment that had them both giggling, something we rarely see from either, and of course has us hoping they’ll start taking tea together on the regular.
