Athleta’s Collection With Alicia Keys Is About More Than Just Elevated Looks

When it comes to curating a collection that merges show-stopping style with an empowering message, Alicia Keys is your girl. And that’s exactly why activewear brand Athleta has partnered with the artist for their powerful new collection.

The collab is a limited-edition collection of pieces co-created with Keys to outfit every body in bold shapes, optimistic colors, and effortless layers — all available in sizes XXS to 3X. As co-designer, Keys drew inspiration from her own personal journey to well-being and empowerment, while still championing other women’s stories as part of the partnership.

And now, the looks: You can see the inspiration from Keys’ New York roots in city chic staples like the Keys Utility Jumpsuit in show-stopping fuchsia and the Keys High Waist Utility Pant in a bold magnolia white, or in head-to-toe toasted almond pieces like the Keys Hoodie, Keys Wide Leg Pant, and Keys Rib Crop Tank. But you’ll also find plenty of dreamy California vibes here, too, with a golden yellow maxi robe, ribbed bike shorts, and all the tights and crops you need to take the hikes that will fill your inspiration tank back up to the top.

“Embarking on my path toward well-being has meant honoring my truest, most vulnerable self,” Keys says. “It’s why, together, we’re working to arm women and girls with the tools needed to step into our power, our potential, and our possibility.”

In addition to the clothes, the partnership also means Keys is joining Athleta in an advisor and mentor role with The Power of She Fund’s Wellness for All grant program. Through the program’s two funds — Move Together Grants and Well-Being for All Grants — they’ll empower organizations that foster connection through multi-generational, movement-based programming, as well as women of color working to make wellness and fitness more inclusive and accessible to female Black, Indigenous, and people of color communities.
