What we dote on even more is when said prints are incorporated into seasonal items in fresh and unexpected ways. A product of Stubbs & Wooten, known for their luxurious flat slippers gracing the soles of celebs and socialites alike, these flats fit the elusive “functional and fashionable” bill for fall footwear. Agree? Spotted in abundance on the fall runways—ahem, Ferragamo—houndstooth is clearly a huge trend this season. That being said, the black and white motif is a boisterously busy print, so wear in moderation—one item is enough to make a serious statement. All hail houndstooth!
