Prada Is Selling A $185 Paper Clip, And The Internet Is Throwing So Much Shade

After Balenciaga came out with a $1,100 tote modeled after its very own paper bag, we couldn’t imagine anything being more sartorially outrageous. But in today’s wildest fashion news, Prada has trolled all fashion girls by selling an oversize paper clip–shaped money clip, and it likely costs more than your monthly subway fare. At $185, the accessory is made of sterling silver and has the luxury brand’s name embossed on one side. Sold at Barneys New York, it’s certainly an eccentric splurge, considering we probably don’t even have $185 worth of cash in our wallets. But, hey, if traditional $5 paper clips aren’t your style, who are we to judge?
