Free-spirited Fragrance

by Aaron Aragonez

Finally, a fragrance that suits perfectly with my closet full of ’70s-era clothes that I so love. Aptly titled “Hippie Rose” for its notes of patchouli and Bulgarian rose, this scent takes me back to my Grateful Dead days, while remaining fabulously fresh and relevant to a modern-day aesthetic.

The newest scent from esteemed British perfumer, James Heeley, Hippie Rose is a distinctive concoction that will have you hooked at first whiff. Lovers of strictly light and feminine aromas beware, for it is a more dense and smoky, spiritual concoction to be worn by both sexes. Sniff it out and you will perceive alluring notes of bergamot and green moss that blend beautifully with the middle marks—listed above—and enduring base notes of Haitian Vetiver, amber, incense and musk. Heaven. Want a bohemian-inspired getup to go with your new scent? Slip into your favorite pair of wide-leg jeans with a fringe top and floral headpiece, then lightly spritz yourself with Hippie Rose. Peace, love and fragrance. xoRZ
