Shoes are like friends, you can never have too many. For consideration in your own ever-expanding coterie, we put forth Emilio Pucci’s Gold Cork Wedges—a mega-tall pair of platforms eager to lift up a closet full of spring-to-summer attire.

The foundation of Pucci designer Peter Dundas’ chinoiserie-meets-athletic collection, these stilt-like steppers strutted down the runway in many appealing variations, from white and cream dragon-sculptured—yes, dragon sculptured —to black leather and wood, and royal blue covering an all-gold base. But for our money (or rather, desk daydreaming), we’d be over-the-moon to find our feet arched in today’s lustrous cork interpretation. Which duo would you induct into your inner-circle this season?
