Considering our general stance on athletic footwear, we are just as shocked as you are to be featuring a pair of bona fide sneakers in The ZOE Report today. But, what can we say? One look at Alexander Wang’s Dillon Shoes—from his resort 2012 collection—and we decided to amend our never-leave-the-house-in-your-trainers rule (just don’t tell Rachel). Truth be told, these sweat soles are so awesome they have actually swayed some of us into getting a gym membership.

Leave it to Alexander Wang to dream up a pair of running shoes that are fit for the elliptical machine yet stylish enough for the streets too. Designed in suede and leather with a rubber sole, they perfectly embody a laidback New Yorker, off-duty look. OOC! For your own downtown-cool getup, rock these runners, or a like-minded pair, with a track jacket, running pants and headphones—Wang would totally approve.
