Think you’re having a bad day? Steve Harvey accidentally crowned the wrong Miss Universe on Sunday in what is possibly the worst gaff in the history of pageants (yes, worse than this). While Miss Colombia waved to the audience, he sheepishly returned to the stage to take responsibility for his error and announced Miss Philippines as the real winner. Disbelief, confusion and an awkward crown exchange ensued before the show abruptly ended. While naturally we (and the rest of the audience), felt mortified on behalf of Miss Colombia, there’s a part of us that feels Miss Philippines was robbed of her moment in the spotlight. Thankfully this video from shortly thereafter shows her making light of the situation. We’re sure Miss Colombia and Steve Harvey aren’t in quite such high spirits.
