The megawatt actress is stepping into t-strap pumps to play Zelda Fitzgerald in an upcoming Ron Howard biopic based on the book Zelda by Nancy Zilford. An empowering women’s story, the eponymous film will follow the rise of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s muse in the Jazz Age, her artistic competition with her husband and tragic decline into schizophrenia. We can already hear the Oscars calling. Since the movie won’t hit theaters until at least late 2017, we suggest getting your roaring ’20s fix in the meantime by dressing up like a flapper this Halloween or devouring the book.
