Last night was the much-anticipated premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel, and already the show has already delivered its signature twisted plot, abundant use of gore and of course, plenty of toxic characters. Aside from this season’s new hotel theme, viewers were most excited to see Lady Gaga make her acting debut, and she did not disappoint. The embodiment of glamour in a striking gown and glittery gloves, Gaga, alongside Donovan (played by Matt Bomer), slyly seduces a young couple to come back to the hotel to partake (spoiler alert) in arguably the most violent foursome of all time. It appears Gaga has been echoing her character’s style in real life, donning high-necked victorian necklines in NYC and old Hollywood gowns for the Emmys. Could this be her new aesthetic?
