6am: "My essential early-morning reads include WWD, Editorialist.com and our SS'16 print issue for a dose of fashion week inspiration. These go hand-in-hand with a cup of Viand coffee. They deliver at 6am every morning—it's a completely guilty indulgence, but they have the best coffee in town."

6:45am: "Ava and Will (my kids) wake up and we all have breakfast in our nook—it's the perfect way to spend time together before we get ready for the day."

8:04am: "Quick weather check before I pick out an outfit. At the height of the polar vortex, it's -1 degrees today. The newscaster's water froze in her hand! I decided to add an extra pack of hand warmers in my bag."

Noon: "After meeting some old editor friends from Harper's Bazaar for coffee, I ran across town to Skylight Studios for Derek Lam's show. This is one of my favorite looks from the collection. I'm in love with this entire silhouette and how fresh it reads styled with a clean white boot. The entire collection was flawless and had the most amazing range of outerwear options. It was one of my favorites of the week."

1pm: "I walked across the venue to Rachel Zoe's presentation. The space was packed as everyone swooned over the collection. I'm eyeing the white shearling coat, chunky white cable knit sweater and all of the outerwear. The collection start to finish was to die for."

1:45pm: "My hand warmers had worn out so I ran uptown to my apartment to add a few layers before heading down to the office. I'm wearing leggings, trousers, two sweaters, a leopard calf-hair vest, camel Stella McCartney coat, thick wool scarf, Altuzurra parka and my favorite Chloé bag...plus toe warmers in my shoes. I can hardly move my arms to take this picture, I have so many layers on!"
