It’s easy to fall into an indulgence mind-set in the fall and winter seasons, when our bikinis are tucked away and everything’s suddenly infused with pumpkin-flavored sugar. As we rush toward the year’s end, however, it might be wise to consider taking a time-out to focus inward—rather than simply ordering another round of martinis—before the whole “it’s a new year and I’m still in the same place” panic sets in on January 1.
