On music’s biggest night, it should be no surprise to hear that the most celebrated artists of today’s top genres will take the stage. Hosted by Late Late Show funny guy James Corden, the 59th annual Grammy Awards’ first batch of announced performers include soul songster John Legend, heavy-metal gods Metallica and country superstars Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. (Collectively, these musicians are industry veterans, with 29 career Grammys among them!) Another rumored appearance will be by The Weeknd, who’s currently making the Internet go wild for reasons other than his music.
