The Inspiration Behind Rachel Zoe’s Fall Winter 2018 Show Isn’t What You’d Expect

by The Zoe Report

It’s no secret Rachel Zoe is inspired by 1970’s glamour, frequently referencing the likes of Bianca Jagger in her mood boards. This season she wanted to celebrate the complexity of the modern woman, speaking in particular to the duality of femininity and masculinity that lives within all of us, so who better to look to than David Bowie? The ultimate glam-rock icon was a master of high-octane dressing, blending glitz with grit and doing it all with head-turning flair. Here, take a peek at her mood board as well as some of the sketches for the collection.
