Rachel Zoe’s 4 Reasons To Love August

Reason #1: Fall Shopping

“I can never really control the excitement leading into fall – I’ve even contemplated moving to a cold climate all year, so I can embrace my obsession of fall dressing. August means getting out of your summer daze and diving deep into the fashion frenzy of September. It means wrapping up summer bonfires and beach BBQs and getting into that completely focused, fashion-obsessed headspace. Sure you’ll be saying goodbye to flowy caftans and floppy hats, but just think about all the platform boots, chunky knits, and coats you’ll be living in!”

Reason #2: The Lead Up To Fashion Week

“I am already itching to see what the masterminds of fashion will bring come September in New York, London, Paris and Milan. I’m holding my breath just thinking about what Ricardo Tisci will send down the runway for Givenchy and what Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta and Prabal Gurung have up their sleeves in New York. In Milan, I can’t wait to see Versace, Gucci and Pucci and, of course in Paris, Giambattista Valli, Valentino and Chanel – always.”

“After five years and a full redesign later, I couldn’t be more excited to share Fashion Week coverage through The Zoe Report. My team and I will be hard at work all day and night, covering the excitement of it all. We won’t skip a beat so neither will you, I promise.”

Reason #3: Glamorous Celebrations

“As a stylist, I always look forward to film festival season. The events in Toronto and Venice are all about full-on glamour at its best.”

“My birthday also falls on Labor Day weekend – I’m not one to want anything extravagant, but it’s such a great excuse to celebrate with my favorite friends and family with a beautiful, candlelit dinner party in the Hamptons.”

Reason #4: Change Is In The Air

“I love that August is all about transformation and change; from your wardrobe and your hair to your job and your workout routine. Don’t be afraid to try new things! Fashion rules are meant to be broken and this new, fashion-fueled season is the perfect opportunity to be rebellious.”
