Where Models Hang Out In Sydney

All things Australian tend to pique our interest as of late—from the cool local style mavens to up-and-coming design labels, the land down under is full of fashionable culture and we just can’t get enough. When model and all-around superbabe Georgia Fowler clued us in that she’d be spending time in Sydney, we had to know everything. Though originally hailing from New Zealand, she’s frequented many a hot spot in Australia and as a result, is basically a local. We caught up with the striking brunette, who shared some highlights from her recent trip—and what spots to check out if you find yourself in the city.

"Ready for the 30-hour flight ahead—I was in Germany for work, so I was essentially flying from one side of the world to the other. The upside? Duty-free La Mer cream."

"Passing over the City of Sydney just before landing! What a beautiful day for flying."

"As soon as I landed, I went for a swim in my sister’s beautiful backyard pool to freshen up. How sweet is her dog (and my pool buddy) Thunder?"

"Talk about a way to wake up—this view of a spectacular double rainbow was right outside my bedroom window. Proof that Sydney is pure magic!"

"My mum came to visit me and my sister, and here we are on the balcony of the Coogee Pavilion. It's the most incredible venue with a giant market vibe—you can lounge all day long on the lower level, then work your way up to more of a bar atmosphere at the top. The food is delicious."

"Went diving in the harbor and came back successful—they died for a good cause! When we're not dining in, I love Mr. Wong, Ms.G's in Potts Point and Coogee Pavilion."

"Every day I went for a walk around the coast—the crystal clear waters never get old. My favorite beaches are Tamarama and, if you go up north, Palm Beach."

"My sister and I hit the local vintage shops, in which Harley tees and Kurt Cobain glasses were purchased. Check out the shops on Crown Street and also Store Room Vintage off Oxford Street for some amazing thrifted clothing."

"If you're in the city, the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk is a must, and it's where you get that iconic Bondi icebergs shot you see all over Instagram. Here's the view at sunset—so stunning."

"My trip wasn't all about play—I worked on a couple fun shoots while in Sydney. My sister and I squeezed in a few photos around the pool in our downtime. And even though it's winter in Australia, I still got a tan. Love you Aussie—I’ll be back!"
