Tommy Hilfiger Officially Introduced Its Surprising Brand Ambassadors

by Samantha McDonald

It’s no secret that Tommy Hilfiger appreciates a good tune. The designer produced the dynamic Tommyland extravaganza, which fabulously blended fashion and music in a festival-like setting, and has employed a number of musicians (like Destiny’s Child and Gwen Stefani) to represent his brand throughout the years. Now, the all-American icon is passing the microphone to dance-pop hitmakers The Chainsmokers, naming them brand ambassadors with a Fall 2017 campaign kickoff that remixes their song “Young.” The Grammy-winning DJ duo of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall will undoubtedly help boost the menswear inclusion at TommyNow, the in-season runway show in London this month, and they’re an ideal choice considering the designer’s millennial and Gen-Z consumer base. (Hello, Gigi Hadid.) See the campaign in action here.
