In the last couple years alone, Zoe Kravitz’s mane has been everything from blonde to jet black, with lengths spanning from just below her ears to cascading down her back. The most impressive part? She owns each and every look equally. When she debuted a new chop on Instagram this week, we couldn’t help but take a trip down memory lane through her chameleon-like hair transformations—and furthermore, we can’t wait to see what she’ll do next.

A style she maintained through the latter half of 2014 up until May of this year, Zoe walked several red carpets with a variation of her oft-rocked braids—tightly woven until roughly shoulder-length, then left un-plaited through the ends.
Zoe debuted a drastic new 'do by lopping off her braids in favor of a shorter, wavy lob (once again, seemingly for a movie role). We love it!
