Serena Williams Proves She Is One Of The Greatest Athletes Of All Time

Supported by a crowd that included her sister Venus, Beyonce, Jay Z, Natalie Portman, Rashida Jones and more, Serena Williams claimed her 22nd Grand Slam title by winning the Wimbledon women’s singles final against Angelique Kerber. The win brings her neck and neck with record holder Steffi Graf and is a landmark moment in her career that had many on the edge of their seats (including Jay Z, below). After accepting the much-anticipated trophy she added “It makes the victory even sweeter to know how hard I worked hard for it”. Bravo Serena, and good luck to her as she returns to the court with Venus for a doubles match later today.
