The Emmy-winning actress was a notable no-show, as she’s become a mainstay at the event for the last seven years. Well, we finally learned why she skipped fashion’s biggest night. Fans of the style icon turned to social media, where they happened upon an Instagram post that SJP shared of her coffee machine.
As it turns out, she was simply busy at home with her HBO dark comedy series, Divorce. Although we totally get the work commitment, we must ask one legitimate question: Did the Met Gala even really happen without Queen Carrie Bradshaw?
