According to a LinkedIn post, the trio is looking for a senior communications officer for their Royal Foundation, which means that the available position would allow you to hobnob with some of the most celebrated people on the planet whilst doing good in the world. The job is based in London, which probably explains why half of the 1,000+ people who’ve applied thus far are located in the British capital. Those who still wish to apply (us!) should have “extensive experience within a marketing, media or PR office, with a relevant degree and, ideally, have experience in working within the charity sector.” The person who wins the role will, according to the post, “work both reactively and proactively to manage the daily news flow to the media, ensuring items are accurately and positively reported and received by audiences via traditional, digital and social media”—no small feat given the tenacity of the press and the insatiable public appetite for all news related to the royal family.
