David Bowie Passes Away

Just 2 days after his 69th birthday, legendary singer-songwriter David Bowie passed away yesterday after battling cancer. His glam-rock androgyny long pervaded the fashion world, and designers and industry vets are experiencing an immense feeling of loss. The British icon reportedly died peacefully and surrounded by his family. He's survived by his wife, Iman, and his 2 children. Undoubtedly one of the greatest performers of our time, he'll be remembered for his artistry, his experimentation and of course, his style. [ Vogue UK ]

Apple has yet to confirm or deny, but these users are letting it be known that they don't want to be forced to spend extra cash on wireless or Lightning-compatible headsets. [ Refinery 29 ]

Your Basic Outfit Is Getting You Left Swipes

If head-to-toe black is your mainstay, it's probably why you're single. According to a new Tinder study, the majority of users are sporting less than standout ensembles in their profile photos, resulting in more left swipes than right. The data revealed that 72 percent of men and 56 percent of women on Tinder are prone to wearing basics in neutral colors, with black reigning supreme for both genders. Word to the dating-app wise? Throw some color into the mix. [ Mashable ]
